Cut front-desk interruptions with a QR on the guest’s phone
Most desk calls are routine — hours, Wi‑Fi, late checkout. A room QR that opens Avant on the guest’s phone answers those without another queue at reception.
Peak check-in is when the phone lights up for the same three questions: spa hours, Wi‑Fi steps, and whether breakfast is still open. None of that needs a queue at the desk — but it still lands there when the room only has a paper binder or a verbal handoff.
Put a QR in the room that opens Avant on the guest’s own phone. Guests get current services, hours, and partner offers without waiting. Check-in and check-out can stay on that same phone path, so the desk is not the only door for routine stay steps.
When something does need staff — a request, a booking, a local tip that should be personal — it lands on the Porte Requests board instead of a sticky note or a shouted handoff. You update hours and offers once in the CMS; every room QR reflects the change.
You are not removing hospitality. You are clearing the interruptions that steal it from guests who actually need you.
