Pre-arrival check-in and stay info — on the guest’s phone
Incomplete forms and outdated packets still land at the desk on arrival day. Let guests finish check-in and read stay info in Avant before they walk in.
Arrival day piles up when guests still need to finish paperwork at the desk: missing details, unanswered house questions, and a paper or PDF packet that no longer matches today’s hours. The lobby becomes a queue of routine steps while the welcome waits.
That is not only a front-desk staffing problem. It is a timing problem. When check-in forms and stay info only open at the counter, every late flight and early coach becomes another interruption — and guests arrive without knowing breakfast hours, Wi-Fi, or where to find the spa.
Send the path earlier. A pre-arrival link (or the same QR guests will use in the room) opens Avant on the phone they already carry. Guests complete routine check-in steps and read current stay info before they walk in. You keep hours, house rules, and services current in the CMS; every link and QR reflects the same source. When something still needs staff — an exception, a late arrival note, a special request — it can land on Porte instead of a sticky pad at reception.
You are not replacing the welcome with a tablet at the curb. You are moving the paperwork off arrival hour so the desk can greet people, not chase forms.
